custardy pies
The impending doom of the approaching school year can be summarized in nine fatal words:
Coffee is no longer allowed in the music building.
DUM DUM DUM DUMMMMMM (ominous music)
Really though, it's all good. NWC is all right, it's a good time, full of life and energy....and ONE CLASS ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS. That's right. I have free from 9:15 until choir at 3:20. Yep. Good times, great oldies.
Meanwhile, Bob Dylan is quickly approaching. Only a two and a half weeks to go.
Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message)
28-30"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."
No freaking kidding. I am soooo tired of the hype of the Christian "religion." It's probably just more evidence of my own issues than anything, but chapel seems so fake sometimes. Are we here to put on a show? What does honest "worship" really feel like? I don't know if I've ever experienced that for myself, so maybe I wouldn't know it if I saw it. Maybe it's something I have to look for, instead of looking for things that are wrong with the church.
Oh well, what can you do?
Ruthie sent me bacon-shaped BandAids and I wore one today.
Lata.

Dude! No more coffee in the PAC?! How will you stay awake?! And who made that rule?! Right now I am listening to crappy Japanese bubble-gum pop that I bought for only 80 yen (like $1).
