Today at work one of my customers ordered about $50 of food and left, in lieu of a tip, a silver plastic coin-looking thing with this inscription on the front:

"Where will you spend eternity?"

And this on the back:

"John 3:16"

It made me sad, incipiently, because I didn't get a tip and the people's kids left a huge mess on the floor, but after that wore off it made me sad because I believe in God and I don't believe that pissing off waitresses by leaving a Bible verse instead of money to pay rent is really an effectual way to evangelize. Can I get an AMEN?
