tangerine trees and... homemade espresso drinks.
I have been having very strange dreams.
I finally mustered enough courage to listen to a recording of my voice recital, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was happy with most of it, which means I either got better at singing or got less picky. Probably a combination.
I am seeing Ruthie next week! Holla!!!!!!!!!!!
I turned in all my Northwestern University stuff last night, after slaving away for another 6 hours on essays and resumes and crap.
I really don't know what it's all for, I'm just keeping my options open.
On the up side, I may or may not have received for Christmas: a) a 72-piece dish set for our apartment (three cheers for not eating off of napkins! Betsy, you're off the hook); b) the entire set of Beatles Anthology DVDs; and c) a combination coffee and espresso maker, complete with steamer for making cappuccinos and other fine concoctions. All of which I am certain will sizeably improve my standard of living from here on out.
I want to go to England next year.
It's great to have aspirations I suppose.
Apparently I have family other than my parents coming to my violin recital. Which is both exciting and frightening, given my state of striking unpreparedness. Ah well, at least there will be cake. And I did come up with a poster, although I haven't decided yet if I want to advertise, I suppose it depends on if I ever start feeling confident.

Matthew got me the Anthology too! But that sure as heck doesn't mean that we will ever be able to live without each other. Hang in there, you. LIVAPOOL!
